Here’s the deal. That smartphone in your pocket is going to take better pictures every time then even the most expensive SLR. Why? Because its a world class camera that’s instantly accessible ready for you to see the moment and capture it perfectly — while you’re still struggling to zoom the lens and select your F stop on the SLR.
And also — do you really want to be that person with what looks like a compensatory appendage around your neck screaming - I’m a tourist and don’t belong here. Unless you’re a pro, does it really matter that your dynamic range might be slightly lower then on a $1500 Nikon?
